PAL Serve: Better World Book Drive

What: A book drive in coordination with BetterWorldBooks to raise funds for Invisible Children. Here is the lowdown ;)

• You donate your books (see below for designated locations)
• PAL collects the books and ships them to BetterWorldBooks
• BetterWorldBooks sells the books and gives a portion of the profit to Invisible Children

PAL Event: Nations Across the Street

UPDATE: This event is free of cost, but we encourage you to bring some donations for the relief effort in Japan, which we will contribute through NC Baptist Men.

What: We no longer have to travel thousands of miles across the ocean to meet people from other lands--God has brought the nations to our neighborhood. Come and learn how we can serve the nations who are now across the street from us. Feel free to invite your church leader. Dinner is included.

Japan Crisis Response: Pray & Donate

A 9.0 magnitude earthquake hit the Pacific Ocean nearby Northeastern Japan (Sendai) at around 2:46pm on March 11 (JST) causing damage with blackouts, fire and a 13 foot tsunami.
